Shipping

​

Estimated Average Shipping Times (PRINTS):

- Portugal - 3 - 5 Business Days

- Europe: 5 - 8 Business Days

- Rest of the World: Up to 15 Business Days

 

  • All prints are carefully rolled and placed in cardboard postal tubes to ensure their safe delivery. [Frames are not included].

  • ​We will do our best to ensure that your artwork reaches you on time and in perfect condition.

  • Please note that Fine art prints are produced to order and can typically take 3-10 business days to produce before shipping. 

  • After payment and confirmation by Monica Mar, online orders usually ship out within 72-hours of your purchase, and will usually arrive within a maximum of 5-15 working days, unless anything else is stated..

  • ​Delivery times may vary depending on your location and other factors beyond our control. We are not responsible for any delays, loss, or damage incurred during shipping.

  • We provide global shipping for prints, commissions and originals* to almost every country in the world.

  • Shipping costs vary depending on the recipient’s location. 

  • Shipping costs will be added to your purchase at checkout.

  • Please note that you may be subject to various rules and restrictions regarding some international deliveries and you may have to pay a customs clearance fee as required: Monica Mar is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. These fees will be assessed by the final destination country upon arrival and are the responsibility of the purchaser to pay for them. Please contact your local customs office for more information.

To which destinations will this regulatory obligation apply?

This obligation only applies to non-EU countries (outside the European Union), since only in these countries will postal items containing goods be subject to customs procedures.

 

Which territories of countries belong to the European Union but are considered non-EU for customs purposes?

Buesingen, Helgoland (Germany); Canary Islands, Territories of Ceuta and Mellila, Andorra (Spain); Month Athos (Greece); Livigno, Lake Lugano (Italy); Guernsey, Jersey, Gibraltar (Great Britain); Faroe Islands (Denmark); Aland Islands (Finland).
These territories are subject to customs procedures.

  • Please note that customs charges and import fees incurred are non-refundable.

  • The product will be sent by a courier compony. The buyer will be informed of the name of the company and tracking number before shipping.

  • We will do our best to monitor the entire shipping process and keep you informed. Delays can also occur due to customs issues in your country.

  • We are not responsible if the delivery address is not correct. We don't take responsibility for any customer error.

​Payments

  • All prices in the online store are stated in EUR currency.

  • ​​All major credit cards and PayPal are accepted. Bank transfer is also accepted. please contact us.

  • All payments for products purchased through this website must be made in full at the time of placing the order.

  • Adding an artwork to your shopping cart does not reserve the artwork. You must successfully complete the checkout process to secure your item.

Returns

​​

  • We cannot be held responsible for any damage occurring after delivery of the artwork.

  • ​The condition of the product must be inspected and checked upon receipt. If you do not notify us within 48 hours of any defect or problem with the artwork and/or if you start using the product, you will be deemed to have confirmed that everything is in satisfactory condition at the time of delivery or collection and no return will be accepted.

  • In the unlikely event of receiving a damaged artwork, please contact us within 48 hours with pictures of the damage. Once confirmed, we will endeavour to replace the print, free of charge. To arrange this, please contact us at: info@monicamar.com.

  • In the event that we are unable to replace - if it is a commission or an original artwork - we will arrange a refund upon receiving the returned damaged artwork and corresponding Certificate of Authenticity.

  • ​Please note that we won't be able to refund you if we haven't received the product.

  • Transport costs will not be refunded.

Commissions | Original Artworks

 

If you are interested in purchasing an Original Artwork, send us your request here or contact us by email: info@monicamar.com.

  • For commissions it is necessary to pay a deposit of 60% of the total price to start work and guarantee your order. Monica Mar reserves the right to request a higher percentage if deemed necessary. Once the work is finished, you must pay the remaining 40%, including shipping costs, before the work is sent to you.

  • If the client wishes to cancel the commission after the 60% deposit has been paid, they must inform us as soon as possible. If the artwork has already been started, the deposit will not be refunded.

  • Original Artworks must be paid for in full, before going to their final recipient. Shipping costs will be included. Monica Mar is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order.

  • Original Artworks and commissioned works  can not be returned or refunded due to their personalized nature, in accordance with the European Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU. Unless you have received it in a damaged state. If there is a problem, we will work with the customer on a case-by-case basis to resolve it.

  • In the event that we are unable to replace - if it is a commission or an original artwork - We will arrange to offer a partial or a full refund depending on the damage, upon receiving the returned damaged artwork and corresponding Certificate of Authenticity. To arrange this please contact us.
